Shopee Seller Fees Explained (Philippines)
Shopee deductions depend on the seller, category, order, and optional programs. This guide separates the five fees modeled by MarginGuard instead of assuming all five apply to every order.
Fee bases and when they apply
Commission fee
Marketplace commission is a category rate applied to Gross Settlement Price: the final product price after seller-sponsored shop discounts or vouchers. Shopee-funded rebates, vouchers, discounts, and Coins do not reduce that base. The fee starts after 90 days from a seller's first listing, unless Shopee notifies the seller of another period. Mall commission follows the separate Mall schedule. See Shopee's current commission schedule.
Transaction fee
Shopee's Terms set this at 2.24% of Buyer's Purchase Monies before site rebates, discounts, vouchers, and Coins for successful transactions. It is VAT-inclusive and rounded to the nearest peso.
Seller's share of Shopee-Supported Logistics shipping
MarginGuard models the current published rate on item selling price: 5.60% for Marketplace and 4.48% for Mall, capped at ₱100.00per item. It applies only when the seller's order and logistics arrangement are covered by the policy. Check Shopee's shipping-fee schedule.
Order processing fee
This is ₱5.00per successful order, inclusive of VAT. Shopee waives it for each seller's first 50 successful orders in a calendar month, so it should be switched off while that exemption applies.
Seller Growth Support fee
The category rate is 1% or 1.5% of Gross Settlement Price and follows the same seller-discount base described for commission. It starts after 90 days from the first listing unless Shopee provides another period. Use the rate for the product category from Shopee's Growth Support schedule.
The definitions above are also reflected in Shopee's seller-fee Terms. The Terms explicitly state that the transaction fee is rounded to the nearest peso and define Gross Settlement Price itself as rounded to the nearest peso. The available primary sources do not explicitly establish that commission, Growth Support, or shipping fees are each individually rounded after applying their rates. MarginGuard rounds each modeled percentage fee to the nearest peso as a disclosed planning assumption used for these worked prices, then searches for the minimum whole-peso selling price whose revenue covers the entered cost. This assumption is not Shopee-confirmed settlement behavior; verify the actual deductions in Seller Centre.

The first two cases differ by half a percentage point of Growth Support: Beauty's 1.5% deduction rounds to ₱2.00 at its minimum price, while the 1% case rounds to ₱1.00. The exemption case reaches ₱108.00 because only transaction and shipping remain enabled. For the high-value item, shipping stops at the ₱100.00 cap instead of continuing to rise with price.
What the calculator does not include
The result excludes withholding tax, cross-border charges, paid ads, SPayLater or other seller-activated services, program fees, penalties, returns, and seller-specific adjustments. These do not apply uniformly and should be added separately when they apply to your account or order.
Confirm the fee lines in Seller Centre, then use the calculator with your actual category and exemptions. The output is a price floor, not a suggested retail price or a profit guarantee.
