What this site does

MarginGuard is a free calculator. The amounts you enter stay in your browser; we do not ask you to create an account to use it.

Usage-limit cookie

MarginGuard sets a first-party cookie named uid. It contains an opaque, random identifier and is HttpOnly. We use it for anonymous usage-limit tracking. It can remain for up to one year and does not contain calculator amounts. Clearing MarginGuard site cookies removes it; a later visit may create a new one.

Advertising

When AdSense is configured, Google and third parties may place or read cookies on your browser and use web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers for ad serving, measurement, and personalization where permitted. Read Google's explanation of how it uses information from partner sites.

You can manage ad personalization in My Ad Center or adjust cookie controls in your browser.

We also use the Meta Pixel to measure the performance of ads we run on Facebook and Instagram. It shares page views and interactions with fees-and-pricing pages with Meta so we can see which ads lead to sign-ups, and does not include the amounts you enter into the calculator. Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate page performance and visits. It does not use the calculator inputs to profile you.
