Google Workspace CLI (gws)

This OAuth client is used by Anthony Andrei Tan with the open-source Google Workspace CLI. It lets him run commands against Google accounts he authorizes, including reading and, where a command requests it, changing Workspace data.

How it works

The CLI runs on the account owner's computer. Google shows the permissions being requested during authorization. After approval, the owner runs a specific command in a terminal or connected tool. The CLI sends that request to Google and returns the result to the program that called it.

This website is an information page. It does not provide a hosted Workspace service, receive OAuth tokens, or store Google account content. If the CLI is used through an AI agent or another connected program, the command result may be shared with that program and handled under its own privacy terms.

This is a personal setup and is not an officially supported Google product.
